Lunettes de réflexe

"pair of eye glasses" enables in a simple way the learning of a conditional reflex: A short air blast from a nozzle causes the reflex of closing the eyelid. If this process is combinded with an acoustic signal (whistle), then after a short-time practice the sound signal alone is sufficient to trigger the closing of the eyelid. Should this "blind alarm" take place too often, however, the reflex is fading away again (extinction). This type of learning became known by the Russian researcher Pawlow and his studies with dogs. The experiments mentioned are running rapidly. The nozzles inside the glasses can be adjusted to the eye distance of the testee. With a small peg for the closure of a nozzle the experiment can also be executed on one side. With whistle and text in german.
